“In October 2019, The Cova Project held its first fundraising event, to raise funds for the purchase and distribution of menstrual cups to developing communities across Africa. We approached the event with an ambitious fundraising goal of $50,000 and exceeded that goal, thanks to our supporters and donors. An important part of raising these funds during our first event was having a speaker who brought experience and credibility to the night. Tanya from The CorriLee Foundation worked tirelessly to help us connect with Gretel Killeen, who spoke on her personal experiences with women from Nigeria and Kenya and inspired our crowd.
Tanya shows immense dedication to ensuring charities tackling difficult subject matter are as successful in their work as possible. She brings people together, sharing the same philosophy as The Cova Project, that collaboration moves everyone forward. The Cova Project would like to wholeheartedly thank Tanya for her support and unmatched passion.” written by Genna Dunne CEO / Director of The Cova Project
