Dancing For Dignity

A night of entertainment and dancing to raise awareness for Dying with Dignity NSW.

Dying With Dignity NSW is the organisation fighting for legalisation of voluntary assisted dying. Their aim is to achieve legislation that allows end-of-life choices for individuals with unrelievable suffering from a terminal or advanced incurable illness. Find out more about Dying With Dignity NSW here.

Andrew Denton, John Bell, Mikey Robbins, Jeff Duff (performing songs from his David Bowie tribute show), The Groove Academy (7 piece band), along with performers Muma Megs, Michelle Martinez & Elle-May Harris with DJs Stephen Ferris, Cadell, Scott Pullen & Jack McCord.

Justin Hemmes of Merivale kindly donated Upstairs Beresford for the evening. Andrew Denton and John Bell spoke about their support of Dying with Dignity and  a very well known list of DJ’s helped us have a great dance party.

My Nana Corrie, after whom the CorriLee Foundation was named, was very pro euthanasia.

Scott Pullen (from the Groove Academy), Sarah Edelman (President of DWD NSW) and I (Tanya Lee) would like to thank:
